The Promise of a Rainbow....

There were many rainbow shots to be captured today but I couldn't fit the whole rainbow into my lens, so I focussed upon one part of it, just as it was beginning to break up. The stark contrast between the colours of the rainbow and the dark outline of barren branches really struck me. Such a symbol of hope.....
