A moment of magic!

It's been a horrible wet and windy day today........popped down into town this morning, had to go in the car as it was chucking it down!

Parked up, nipped to the bakery, newsagents, card shop, post office (£26 for Christmas card stamps!!!!) oh and co op for milk and yoghurt.......got absolutely soaked. Popped into the Beauticians (but she couldn't help me ;-) I had hoped I could get a quick manicure before my reunion night tomorrow but had to make an appointment for later in the day!

Got home dried off, made some lunch for me and hub, text my hairdresser who happened to be doing my neighbours hair, to ask if she could call round to trim my fringe, yeah no probs so told her I was out at 2 be back by 3. Big mistake!!

I got drenched (again!) running from the car park around the corner to the Beauticians. Then there was a hiccup with my nails, they had to be redone, so I was twice as along as I thought I'd be. This meant my hairdresser had had to go by the time I got home, as she was picking her little boy up at school. So guess it will be glasses perched on end of nose, hand mirror and kitchen scissors for me in the morning :-)

Having finished my moaning to hub, I was sat having a cup of tea saying "don't know what I'm going to do for a blip today, it's now almost dark!!! ".

Toddled off into the kitchen to stare into freezer to decide what to have for tea when a warm yellow cast seeped in through the windows....." ooo ooo ooo" grabbed my camera ran out into the back garden and captured this lovely sight, not "doctored" at all! Funny, it was only there for a couple of minutes and was the only bit of blue sky and sunlight of the whole day!

Maybe someone somewhere was listening to me feeling sorry for myself and sent this to save the day.......and boy did it :-D
