Tongue Ties and Party time!

Took Ethan to the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh today to get his tongue tie checked out. They said it wasn't the worst case they've seen but still thought it would be worthwhile getting it snipped. As this literally involves snipping it with a pair of scissors using no anesthetic I was quite upset at the thought of him having this done. But he was crying anyway because he was hungry and didn't really cry much more when they did it - I think I was more teary than him! Fingers crossed it will now help with the feeding issues we have been having.

This evening we took him along with us to a neighbours 40th birthday party. He was really well behaved and I think he loved being the centre of attention with lots of our other neighbours who were there!
