Stand well back!
I woke up feeling extremely bad tempered this morning. I have no idea what I was dreaming about last night but I clearly didn't like it. It's the first time I've felt like that in ages so I am quite relieved there was no full moon visible to lure me outside this evening.
Good job I work from home such a lot, especially on days like today.
Yesterday, I went to the hairdressers on the way home from work but I didn't tell you as Bony had taken over my blip. Today my fringe (American bangs?) has miraculously shrunk overnight and is a tiny bit too short giving me that horrendous surprised expression I detest! I look like I have sat on something. Horrors!
A rather pretty tortoiseshell cat was sat on my iron table outside the kitchen window. I am not fond of cats at all and by the time I had been out to him and soaked him with a jug of icy water, he looked more surprised than me as he fled over next door's fence with a yowl. I'm sure I could hear my birds laughing with delight in the trees as I topped up the nuts, bird seed, sunflower seeds and mealworms.
Work was fine. There were a few new starters along with purchase orders to tidy up and I started the next reporting task. I just plodded on through the day and got loads of things done. The only call I had was from an irritating accident claim line. I ranted down the phone at him yelling that I hadn't had an accident but he'd have had a serious one if I could reach down the telephone line to squeeze his nuts until his head exploded. The call was terminated very quickly after that. See? I told you I was in a bad mood!
Anyway, there were lots of birds visiting the garden today and it's taken me a while to decide which picture to use. The coal tit was my favourite today.
Go large!
Track? This is completely different to my usual type of thing. I heard it at the start of Hollyoaks today - I'm so ashamed to admit I watch that - and I really loved this song and had to look it up immediately. It's wonderful - Birdsong
