Stephen Fry at the Oxford Union

After queuing for a little over two hours in the cold on Monday evening to see Ian McKellen talk at the Union and not getting in, this evening the Union decided to ballot half of the seats for Stephen Fry's talk. Luckily, I got a seat in the ballot which was so surprising but also not something I will complain about! This meant I didn't have to queue for hours in the cold (at 3pm it had reached the end of the street) but could just go in and find a seat and wait. The talk was brilliant, he's such a knowledgeable person and very interesting. He talked quite a lot about Oscar Wilde, describing him as the 'student prince'. The question and answer session towards the end was also interesting, some deep questions were asked which he seemed to answer very truthfully.

Prior to the talk I was just working on my essay (which just was not flowing at all) and struggling along. I then continued working until midnight once I got back and finished it. I'm not really happy and think the structure is very jumbled and unclear, but I shall of course appreciate the feedback from Ian.
