Remember, remember, the fifth of November

Guy Fawkes night is an annual celebration of a 1605 attempt to blow up Parliament and assassinate the King.

The plot was folied hours before it reached fruition, but has stuck in the public's imagination and is celebrated each years with firework displays and bonfires.

Falkirk Council hosts a firework display each year in the town's Callendar Park, and I went there tonight to watch!
