Georgina's Cafe

Spent today cracking on with reading for the essay but found it difficult to concentrate for long periods of time. Just felt as if the reading was too dense and I don't think I was looking at the texts in the correct way. I had been at the Gladstone Link which is a library which connects the Radcliffe Camera to the Old Bodleian Library. It's underground and feels very clinical (not quite sure that's the right word?) and like a prison. The shelves are on rollers as well so if the shelf you need is in the middle of a group that are rolled together, you have to roll each one away (and check you don't squish anybody in an aisle further down) and it's generally just a bit strange. I needed to go for a particular book, but I don't think that it is a place I will go often - I enjoy working in natural daylight!

After going to the Gladstone Link I decided to pop to Georgina's Cafe in the covered market for a hot chocolate and a break. It was very quiet but I didn't mind, the hot chocolate was lovely.
