Saudades

Woke up to sun shining on frost patterns on new skylight windows, but chose this bit of early sun on my youngest's coat hook - as it was she who kept me up whatsapping till the early hours and is the reason I'm so dopey today.

They have all made it safely to my friend's in Natal (NE Brazil) and it felt so good to be in contact a bit more now they are somewhere with internet.

Son-in-law came for lunch and helped me with a task that I'd more or less given up on - so grateful.
