Wattle I do?
Good question as it was pouring down pre walking group and Granny (a cycling) and The Boss considered it a stay home day so when it got to 10.00 am the witching hour that walking would start and the sun was out, The Boss texted Granny and found her new fruitphone was safely in her bedroom drawer turned off, so he phoned another member of the group and got a message so gave up and we headed out the door for a controlled wander. That is one where you keep an eye on the kitchen to see what’s cooking.
About then his phone rang cos it had been in D’s pak when he had phoned earlier and he found out what was happening and we headed bark home and grabbed Suz to drive and meet the walkers half way…so to bark. That worked a treat so walking proceeded until a crafty member of the team liked behind her to discover a dark side to the adventure…Namely the sky. So a 180 was done and we headed bark and had lunch (theirs) on a lovely picnic table with the rain gentle dropping. I was not concerned at all as I was under the table (actually) and exploring ways to catch crumbs which in The Boss’s case was especially hard ‘Cos he wasn’t eating bread or anything that crumbed.
Sigh!
After Lunch and in steady rain, the group continued back with promises to meet for coffee in an hour, after they had walked bark to their cars. The Boss and I simply walked 100 ft to Suzz and went home.
This exercise stuff can get very complicated especially when the light falls on Wattle trees.
What?
