Back Light

When things get social I am conditioned to missing out.
Now I don’t want you to all feel sorry for me ‘Cos after all I am the family dog, not the provider, so at times I am quite happy to have a quiet day just having zzz’s in my open plan house and tearing out to terrorise anything that happens to disturb me for entertainment, then returning to ZZ mode again.

There was a bit of this today as The ‘B’s” had breakfast with E and G the producers of “Miss T” which may be the subject of another day. Sorry. Some things are worth waiting for.

And then they went out again to the movies to see “Off The Edge” the story of Sir Edmond Hillarys ascent of Everest. This was because they had been given some passes which expired the next day BUT they did enjoy the movie too.
AND then they came home for tea and declared that it was a no walk day due to failing light so we had a game of “Toss The Footie” which is fast, furious and noisy but huge fun so all was well.

Oh yes and the “Let’s get drunk and fire off fireworks” lot had an early start last night too. You can only buy fireworks in NZ a week before Guy Fawkes but there are certain individuals who stock up and delight in entertaining the town at random. The Boss is threatening to track them down and play back a recording of me barking at 120 Dba at 3 in the morning while they are tied to trees.

Translation…He doesn’t like this practise and neither do all the animals in Wanaka.

Note to The Boss. For goodness sake research a “Thunder Jacket” before New Year starts the whole thing off again with the fireworks left over from this week.

Well The Bossess has a nice new shiny iPhone 5s and The Boss could not resist giving it the really hard “back lighting” test into the sun on the way back from the movies. This phone / camera is a significant upgrade on the earlier one and handles backlight and bad light with total indifference. The bad light performance is amazing as it uses a burst mode to make multiple exposures and then automatically picks the sharp one, taken as the camera wasn’t actually moving.

As for back light…Click to vote.

Oh and it has this grrreat feature that can “Airdrop” the full picture file to another iPhone (The Boss’s) on a Wifi network.

I can smell the envy…….
