lights in the sky

After a walk round Masham browsing the galleries, sweet shop and butchers (some edible purchases were made) we headed to the Black Sheep Brewery for a tour (which happened to include free samples to be consumed on the premises). Had a late lunch there (and another drink). More purchases were made though mine were of the non alcoholic variety.

In the evening there was a bonfire and firework display in a neighbouring village. I googled 'photographing fireworks' and all the advice said tripod .... tripod .... tripod. So without the aforementioned three legged thing I had a go. 14 minutes of non stop lights in the sky ..... very impressive. Whether or not this photo meets with the approval of other blippers at least I know what settings to use if (or when) I photograph another firework display.

And the beer ............. well the beer drinkers enjoyed it but I'll be sticking to other drinks.
