Twitching for Fungi

… isn't something I normally do, but I've been planning to go back to the lovely area we had our foray a couple of weeks ago, and when my friend Roger tipped me off that he had seen Earth Tongues up there, I had to have a look for myself, especially as it was another lovely morning. I think this one is possibly Geoglossum cookeianum but it's impossible to be sure without microscopic examination.
I thought I'd get my blip done relatively early today, whilst I have a signal - our connectivity is hit and miss at the moment, which means my commenting is even flakier than usual!
