Cook on the Run

Believe me I clean the tiles. I'm without any other snapshot of my now diarised life, missing a few altogether, o obsessive woe, I'm a backblipper;)

What happened here was while I was eating a packet soup (spring vegetable and not bad at all) I had watched one of Rick Stein's cooking programmes in India. I've long cooked 'Indian' among other dishes, but watching the Brahmins in this case making their magic I ran into the kitchen, a woman possessed as the credits rolled.

This a one-pot lentils and turnip, sweet potato, mushroom, pumpkin, capsicum, and lemon grass simmered on a base of garlic, onion, green chilli, turmeric, paprika, coriander, cinnamon stick, not overcooked and everything in a remarkable proportion. The remark is yummo...garnished with sesame oil, lemon juice, a grinding of whole peppercorns and dried herbs and slosh of coconut cream, a half twist of a grinding of sea salt crystals; served with sliced fresh truss tomato and spinach leaves.

Mindblowing and awesome.
