Friendly Sheep
We had a lovely walk from Broad Chalke this morning with our visitors. Forecast was bright sun but we got caught in a couple of showers. Ted went most of the way on my back but walked the beginning and end bits - where we met these very friendly black sheep. They were clearly hoping for food but settled for a stroke instead.
It's the Tidworth 10k tomorrow so I'm feeling a little nervous! I know we can do it (we ran a 10k in practice last Sunday) but I don't think the conditions will be great, showers forecast and very wet underfoot. With over 600 runners taking part it'll probably be pretty chaotic too, but hopefully some fun will be had. I've raised over £150 in sponsorship for the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal so at least the muddy hour or so will be to benefit a good cause!
I'm 'carb loading' like a pro tonight! A large bowl of pasta followed by some Nutella cheesecake. That should sort me out.
