It's Downhill From Here

Up before dawn to take the car to Seafield ...... again! to be looked at for the damage caused when it was serviced and to have the squealing brakes seen to (since they failed to do that).

Got there at 8am and was told that it hadn't been booked in ...... again - and that there was nobody in on a Saturday to see to windscreen and paintwork damage at the weekend.
But they could look at the brakes!
How kind of them.
I was also told that the guy who I had spoken to on the phone was in at 8.30am and they would find out what he had arranged.
Good luck with that.

At 10.45am I got a call to say that 'the guy' was not actually coming in. Neither was the service manager.
But the brakes had been checked and it would appear the pads were breaking up - probably caused by dust & dirt build up (on disk brakes??????????) but they could change them for £94!!!
Leave them alone!

When I drove all the way back to collect the car I asked what position this Derek guy holds - the one who has had no interest and has cocked everything up so far.
It turns out he is the Managing Partner ....... the top man at the dealership.
WTF............
The top man can't be arsed.
That means that the rest of the staff obviously have no incentive to do their job properly - which is apparent from the way I have treated.

So ................ Monday morning - head office will be getting contacted again, but I can't help feeling I am going to get no satisfaction.

The moral of the story is ..............NEVER BUY FROM OR HAVE DEALING WITH PETER VARDY
