Pretty little thing

After yesterdays havoc we were determined to have today to ourselves, doing our own things.....in my case pottering around the garden with my camera, in the lovely morning sunshine listening to the birds singing away (thats the birds not me!) Hub has put down some lawn sand to combat the onset of moss as the weather gets cooler and damper.

This little coral coloured flower is a spreader......and manages to find its way in between the rocks in our rockery by our front door. It seems happy, even flourishes in the minimal sandy soil and grit. It standings about 20cms high, and even when bigfoot our lovely postman stands on it, it breaks off, but it just comes right back up again. The only thing I can't tell you about it, is its name!

Its one of those plants you just pick up whilst wondering around the garden centre because you like the look of it! Hope you do too.
