Dong Hoi

A trip on the public bus back to Dong Hoi today. We waited for the 11 o'clock which didn't show se we eventually got on one at 1pm ... and after a busy and hairy 90 minutes arrived in Dong Hoi. The driver was pretty reckless and the bus filled up with school kids and a load of workmen, we also delivered some fresh fish en route ... interesting journey.

On arrival in Dong Hoi it was absolutely pouring so we got soaked walking the short distance to the hotel. Had some lunch then the rain stopped so walked down to the beach. We didn't do much else today or take many pics. This is one of the very Vietnamese ornaments lining the stairs in the hotel. They also had some crazy fish in a pool in reception which were flighting very noisily as we got home this evening.
