Biarritz

Today we are leaving lovely Biarritz, so here are some images to show you what you are missing! The coastline is dramatic with little inlets and sandy beaches, there are surf and scuba schools, lots of nice restaurants with a Catalan influence, and most people seem to speak very good English. Best of all, it's very hilly, with hundreds of steps which act as shortcuts, so we will go home fitter than we came (well that's the theory anyway)!
