Weka

I took several lovely landscape images today but realised that everything is so beautiful that you could get bored with it ... So here is a weka, a New Zealand lightless bird also known as a Maori Hen or Woodhen.
They were scurrying by the track we walked today and, if you stop seem to become curious and approach you looking for food.
