Iceland Gull

Continuing with my recent theme of soft focus - i.e. out of focus or blurred - images, this Icleand Gull drifted past the beach at Balgarva in the glom and distance late this afternoon. Always a good bird to see and actually I think the soft focus feel gives it a real wintery Hebridiean feel! With today's general lack of light I wasn't going to get much else.
"Our" HermitThursh of last week has made it into the news - at least the birding news - with an article in the Birdguides webzine.. Fame and glory!
