Sewing. .

Had a bit of sewing to do so borrowed Mums 50+ years old Singer Sewing Machine. All going well so I stopped for a brew. Turned the light off and went into kitchen. OMG !! The machine started running on its own!! Had to dash in and pull the plug out . Plugged it back in and off it went again at full pelt.
Gave up and put it away. Sent Ted up the loft tonight for my machine which I haven't used in 20 odd years. Found the power cable so all was good . Until . .
I could not get the cotton up from the spool . .
Thank you You Tube, I have now got it going and carrying on with my sewing.
Had my order been the size I had ordered there would have been no need to sew, but it would have cost me more to return them to China than alter them!!!!!!
