Her little shop Myriad is a treasure trove and she is a bit of a treasure herself. She makes time to listen to every type of customer who comes across the threshold of her shop.
I then discovered a wee while ago that she had known my sister very well, they both had had shops in Stockbridge. I must have seen her around a lot as she said she also used to help Pete Irvine (of Scotland The Best and organiser of the New Year Festivals and much else besides) who at that time ran weekly gigs at Tiffanys in Stockbridge plus inviting all sorts of exciting groups up to Edinburgh, this was when Pete ran 'Regular Music' events.
