Having finally made it to visit the Tower of London, I not only recommend it but if you do go then take a Yeoman's tour. They are free once you are inside, highly informative and hugely entertaining. Well this guy certainly was anyway. That combined with seeing the poppies in the moat made for a splendid morning outing despite grey skies and rain.

We then headed over Tower Bridge to deposit Anna with some friends at The Shard whilst the rest of our party (Jackson,Vernee, Cameron & Logan for the sake of future memory and those who like to know the cast) headed to Borough Market for lunch and mooching.

Home for Peri to arrive and small amounts of work time for me. Not quite enough to get much done but just enough for me to start to panic about what needs to be done. I may need to factor some longer work time into tomorrow.

Evening out with Carl at a play that was so unspeakably awful in such a variety of ways that I shall simply not speak of it.

A late bite and a glass of red ended a varied and interesting day on a jollier note.
