Pumpkin Parlour
After the morning charades of "my not getting dressed", "my not going Playschool", "I stay at home with you Mummy", "no my not"; I managed to get Aj into Playschool and she even managed to do it without tears!
I spent all of my time without my girlies working on the computer, sorting out events, applying for prizes, organising stall holders and responding to emails.
Rubels had a major meltdown after school, which consisted of her whacking me with both arms at the school gates, sulking and being left in the car while the rest of us collected Aj, hitting her head on the back of Aj's chair when she wouldn't put her seatbelt on and I braked, screaming in Penny's ear, hitting Penny and then kicking pictures off the wall as I carried her upstairs to bed. I was very impressed with myself that I didn't shout and didn't loose my temper. I remained calm and kept quiet. She had a warning, I counted to three if she chose not to listen and react the first time and then I carried out my warning.
Needless to say she slept for 45 minutes when she got home and went straight to sleep at bedtime too!
We had promised that if Peach was home early enough, he'd do the pumpkins with the girls. So while I made our roast dinner, Peach, MMIL and Auntie CarCar helped the girls to be creative with their pumpkins. They all had lots of fun :)
