GeoCaching

Today I went geocaching! Basically it's like treasure hunting using a GPS device. You download coordinates from online and then go hunting. Some treasures/caches are tiny as shown above.

This nut and bolt has been modified so that it unscrewed to reveal a little compartment which contained was a tiny scroll of paper which you locate, sign and then pack away before returning the cache to it's original position. Others are much larger and have little treasures inside. The idea is you take something and leave something for the next person.

This was out first find and the girls can't wait to find something larger next time.
