We are Family

Woke up this morning having had a good nights sleep (hurrah) so felt more like my old self! After our usual wonder round to the local shop for our morning paper......I left hub at home; he was going to do a few outside jobs whilst the weather is still dry. I met up with a friend for coffee; she used to be part of my team when I was still working! There have been so many changes since I retired and most of the girls refer back to the good times we had as a team..... which does give me a warm glow :-) We worked very hard but also had a great rapport and a good giggle from time to time too!!

I also did a bit of shopping whilst I was in town ...... needed a christening present and the final couple of little bits for the grandchildren's x*** stockings :-)

Have to admit I lost track of time a little until I looked at my watch as I started to walk back to the car and realised that I had approximately 4 minutes to get back before my 3 hour ticket expired! Normally it's at least a 10 minute walk......not run like that for a while!I was 4 minutes late.....luckily no parking attendant waiting for me phew!!

On the way home I stopped off at Three Sisters recreational park for a quick blip......sadly the sun that had been shining when I went out had long disappeared behind flat heavy clouds. However there was a nice tone to the light I thought in this particular shot of the little swan family so this is my choice for today.
