St Basil's Cathedral, Moscow
Our final stop (for one day) on this marathon trip was Moscow. This is the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, and is a former church in Red Square. The architecture here was simply stunning, although the quality of my photos leaves a lot to be desired. We went from 92 degrees heat and 98% humidity in Vietnam to minus 8 degrees and snow in Moscow. My hands were so cold I couldn't actually tell if I was pressing down on the shutter or not. A wonderful place to see though and we did manage to get to the Kremlin which was well worth a visit.
