Peering...

One advantage of the clocks going back is that the mornings are lighter so I've been awake earlier. This morning I took the boys out for a quick walk before heading out to work, and I was in town for 8.30am, so I had time for a walk on the beach. I still feel so lucky to have the beach on our doorstep. The sun was shining on the pier so I went to replicate a photo I took last week, which I didn't blip, but then I noticed West Pier framed by the stanchions of Palace Pier.

At lunch time I met Azmi (Majicmoments) for lunch - I've not seen him since he helped us move, and we had a nice hour in the sun at the Pavilion Gardens Cafe. And then mum arrived this afternoon, she's here for a week so met me from work and we got the bus home together. She's been telling us about her holiday to Canada and brought her photos to show us, it looks a wonderful place. Tomorrow she's left home alone with the boys, and I've got a feeling they're going to run her ragged!
