Today we had a walk at Uppark on the South Downs near Petersfield, cloudless blue sky. Lots of kids doing the Halloween trail, screeching all over the place. The tunnels used by the servants in the old days were particularly popular, as was the gruesome sight of the game hanging room at the back of the stables. Rather a nice room with interesting patterns. I don't approve of game shooting for sport, but for the pot is ok. These may well find their way onto the table at the stables restaurant.
