A Walk in the Woods
Another busy half-term day. It started with a perfect blue sky, which means the sunlight floods through my house and makes it look beautiful. I was awake at 6am, then got up at 7:30am, as I had an appointment with A at 11am and wanted to get things done first. As it turned out, I was washed and dressed by 9:30am.....
I had a good session with A. She always sheds light on the mysteries of life, and over the months, she's really helped me to understand myself better.
I went to Mum's to hang out. We planned to take Little B out, and my Dad was at home, and in a good mood (!), so we decided to go to Virginia Water together. It was a bit weird going with them- I felt like a kid again, particularly when my Dad insisted on taking my car there...!
It was a balmy 18 degrees today- on one of the last few days of October! We worked out we walked for about 2 miles, and it took us an hour and a half. The light was beautiful, and Mum and I took pictures. My Dad and I shared an ice-cream, and it turned out to be a really nice way to spend time together. We headed to Fego's for tea and cake, and then dragged ourselves home.
And here we are. Mum at her Mac, me on my Macbook Pro, Dad on his laptop, and Little B clapped out in his dog bed next to me!
I'm off to take a nap- I've got gym tonight and I want to do better than the tiredness-induced disaster session on Sunday!
