Èze
Today we decided to explore the Grande, Moyenne and Corniche inférieure from Nice to Monaco. We stopped off at the medieval village of Èze perched impossibly high above the sea. The Italianate chuch was very beautiful. We then drove on to Monaco. We did not stop as there was no street parking. Perhaps we will return on the train. We toured Cap Ferrat where the hugely rich have their villas perched above the sea. I must admit that such a display of wealth and the fact that virtually the whole of the beautiful coastline has been appropriated with little public access, made me feel uncomfortable. We found a tiny beach for lunch, however, and mooched around a marina.
I have added a few photos to my Nice flickr set here.
