Rain, Veges, and a Boutique Festival

A shower of rain today to bring on the vege garden.

I'm not the greatest gardener but enjoy the time to plant a small selection of salad veges in the raised gardens as it's all about the change of season and embracing the spring /summer period.

Brought tickets to 'On the Lawn' a boutique festival of craft beer and wine, funky street food and cool tunes to be held at Mount Maunganui on 8th January.

This is what summer is all about. Can't wait.
