What a glorious day catching up with my niece at the Gallery of Modern Art. We walked to the top of this sculpture and I realised I was older than I thought. I caught myself saying;
'my this is higher than I thought. I used to let my kids run up to the top of this when they were very young!!!!!!'
She reminded me that no harm had come to them and that it was too late to worry now - over 14 years later. She also reminded me that children in Sri Lanka sharpen pencils with razor blades and run around carrying machetes and they still haven't cut off their hands yet. She is a wise one.
Modern Art, I could do that! (but you didn't). I like that analysis.
