Dreich...

A good Scottish word, I wonder if it's in the dictionary.

I had a brain heavy day today, a whole day of facilitating mental health training. Much as I enjoy it, it drains me mentally and emotionally. So I was looking forward to my yoga practice this evening. An awful 1.5 hr car commute home left me with a splitting headache and I'd lost my will to venture out into the dark night to meet my yoga chums.

Instead, I took to my own mat for twenty minutes - just enough time to lift my headache and my spirits and to still be in my Jammies before 20.00hrs.

Luckily, I had already found some beauty in the rainy scene from my car in Eastwood Park. And snapped it to share with my blipchums.

It might be dreich outside, but inside, I'm feeling much brighter.
