The Clocks Have Gone Back

Our horologist told us to never turn a clock hands backwards. It is easy to put analogue watches back to GMT, just stop winding it for a day and correct it after it has stopped, that does no harm.

This late 1930's watch belonged to my aunt, she gave it to me when she moved into residential care as she wore a smarter one. I particularly like the decorative face (see in large) The watch is engraved with her name on the back and keeps perfect time, the only thing wrong is that the strap is a bit too short. A perfect keepsake of a much-loved aunt.
