Leicester half and full marathon today. Almost perfect weather conditions except for a headwind and after 13 or 26 miles when the last mile is uphill along New Walk that`s the last thing you need.
A great turnout of competitors but sadly not much support from the general public. Leicester hasn`t quite got the kudos of London and I do feel the council could do a lot more to publicise it.
