Deluged

Not much of a photo, but I had to blip what it means to travel on Western Ferries on a windy night on the Firth of Clyde - especially when you're the first car to board and are in line for everything that comes over the ramp! We were returning from a most enjoyable day - Eucharist in St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow, where we heard one of Mr B's compositions sung as a post-communion anthem; lunch in a handy Italian restaurant across the road; some successful shopping down town thanks to the park-and-ride on the Underground. It had been suggested that we might enjoy Evensong at 6.30pm, but were put off by the thought of the homeward journey in the dark. This photo shows why; somehow the sea seems worse the later it is.

Been quite a weekend ...
