Who Am I ! ?

I'm Jean Valjean sorry there I go again with a bit of singing this time from Les Miserable and the reason I had that song in my head today and I certainly don't sing like Hugh Jackman but I'm sure I'm more ruggedly handsome than him lol, anyway I had a strange feeling after starting work that something wasn't quite right and it took me until passing through Northallerton Station that I had lost my name badge off my jacket so I took off the one on my shirt to put on my jacket as we are always meant to haver our name badge and that's the reason for having that song in my head weird or what anyway I actually came in the station and seen the screen to say my train was cancelled and thought ohh somethings up and we were short of a Train Manager for whatever reason with no extra staff available so I had to drive it empty or (ECS) Empty Coaching Stock non stop to Newcastle although my control had to ask me if I was ok to let our catering staff travel onboard as there not classed as safety critical they have no TM then I have to take responsibility for them as well if anything was to happen so thankfully I said Yes only cause I like the guy well all of them really apart from one individual but he will get a tongue lashing from me soon but that's another story anyway I got my replacement TM at Newcastle and carried on with my full shift with no further problems and my blip for today was of the East Coast class 91111 looking resplendent in it's new Poppy Day paint job looking very nice albeit as a painful reminder to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country, anyway I booked off and checked to see my shifts for the rest of the week and apart from tuesdays shift to Aberdeen the others are all longish jobs with a 04:15 start tomorrow prepping my HST before working it as the 06:06 service as far as Leeds and back so a long one and I barley have 12 hours rest so it was a guffy pot noodle for a quick meal as I didn't want anything heavy in my stomach and that's it for today on a day of rotten weather hopefully it will be nicer in the week but not holding my breath now then movie for the day is "Say It With Flowers 1934" looks nice BIG as well See Ya
