Mendocino

crazy americans and their crazy motels... this one is themed like an old wild west town, with heach room having its own style. Luckily we had the Saloon, with real swing doors and everything! Obvs we had to stride through the doors, matchstick in gob, 'howdy pardner'-ing each other!


Went for a lovely run this evening around the mendocino headlands, just as the sun was setting - a real life-enhancing experience. And then we went to the Raven for our dinner - a rather posh vegan restaurant just south of town - fantastic meal, great wine, the views would have been stunning had the sun not set an hour earlier! Very impressed that pretty much all the food and wine is either grown on site or within about 30 miles of the kitchen.

We could get used to this lifestyle :)
