Wymondham Market Hall

Backblipped for 14th October

This iconic building stands on the place of a C16 market hall which burned down, although there had been a traditional market cross in the town before that. In use in 1617-1618 and subsequently restored this building now houses the Information Centre.

The history of Wymondham Abbey is also interesting, with its two, very different, bell towers.
