Missing her already........

H left today.....we had a very busy and very pleasant week with her.

The HG left at 7.30am to go walking.

H and I had a leisurely breakfast and headed for the railway station to catch the train into Glasgow, only to discover that the train had been cancelled and the next one was going to be rather tight for her catching the London train in Glasgow.

Since her ticket was a through ticket right to her village from my town, she asked what she should be doing, and the ticket lady organised a taxi for us into Glasgow at their expense. Well done Scotrail.

Got there in time to meet C and for us to have a quick cuppa, before H caught her train.

C and I went shopping in the city, and did rather well, as I had a 20% off card for M&S. We saved £20 on our purchases!

Then a nice lunch in Princes Square, and a trip to John Lewis, before heading for the train home...... just made it h9me before the HG.

And a wee glass of red while watching 'Strictly'! What's not to like!!!!
