A 3 hour seance today with the architect and builders as the works move forward apace!

Some wet concrete around the new manhole covers provided an opportunity to place a long term memorial of the works we are doing and also to Philip.

Marking our names in significant patches of new concrete is something we have done as a family for many years. Somewhere hidden at Cropthorne are our names from the extension Philip and I did when we were first married!

It also reminded me that I have to search in the barn at Cropthorne for a roof beam that was removed during the extension that has the original year of construction on it!
