Amor!

I decided to take the day off if it was sunny or work if it rained….. so am having a lovely day out here in the sunshine on the National Mall, and hanging around in the National Gallery whilst I wait to get my flight back to the UK tonight.

The National Gallery always blows me away with its amazing architecture and light, and the sheer number of Cezannes (especially the portrait of his father reading the newspaper) Monets, Hoppers, the beautiful Degas figurines in the basement and the special exhibition of Winslow Homer's American landscapes. A joy and a treasure trove.
