Off to Yarmouth

We had planned to leave early this morning for Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, but by the time we had dropped Murdoch off at his hotel (kennels situated on a farm), done two loads of laundry, collected the dry cleaning, popped in to Carphone Warehouse to get Adam's phone sorted (which has stopped working properly - luckily still under guarantee so Apple will replace it)...it was nearly lunch time!

Anyway we are here now and it is a charming little place with a sweet harbour. The weather forecast was heavy rain but it has not rained all day - it seems cooler here than at home so I am glad I packed a warmer jacket.

I have not had time to look at journals yet, and Gavin is already in the hotel sitting room by the roaring fire waiting for me to join him for a drink. I am sorry that Luke is not with us, this is the first time we have gone away as a family without him. However, Molly (Adam's girlfriend) has joined us this weekend so that is lovely.
