The first fifteen years

Fifteen years ago today we got married. It took us a long time to find each other but we managed it in the end and we've had fifteen lovely years of married life so far.

This evening we celebrated with steak and Rob, in his own inimitable way decided we should have baked beans with it. That's typical of his creative approach to food. He rarely does the accepted combinations. I found that out very early in our relationship. People often ask how we met. 1998 was in the days before internet dating , we were both in our forties and finding it difficult to meet like minded people so we both ended up joining a dating agency. It proved to be one of the best investments of money I hadn't got that I ever made!

Tomorrow we are going for a little holiday. We went to Iceland for our honeymoon, tomorrow we are going to Grange over Sands ( bit of a difference there).
