Celebrating ..... again!

Some of you may remember that we celebrated our Golden Wedding in April of this year.

Our local Council invited us today to a Reception for all the couples in our area who had reached their Golden Wedding this year. We were all photographed as we arrived, and then we were given a lovely afternoon tea, and wine, and strawberries and cream, and also we had some dancing.

When we left we were given our photograph, a glass tealight holder marked 'Golden Wedding', a whisky miniature also marked 'Golden Wedding' and a souvenir programme.

We then went into the city to meet H, C and K and have a Turkish meal before going to the King's Theatre to see the play 'Sunset Song'.

A very busy day! But very enjoyable.
