Flying Rooster
by Jan Fabre (1987) was the name of an impressive work of art at the Kunsthalle Helsinki, or Taidehalli. It was drawn with a ballpoint pen on satin fabric. The mere size of it was huge - it covered the wall completely.
Today we went to see this exhibition which included several pieces of contemporary art from the Kiasma museum.
Afterwards to Farang for a delicious three-course lunch before a train ride back home. Now back at Tyven with a fire in the fireplace, cozy, but it certainly is good to get to see the bigger world every now and then.
