Mixed architecture

Went to Waitrose this morning and thought about the mix of the age of the buildings surrounding the store.
I always think that the rear of a street scene is more interesting than the facade. It can also give more information as to the age of the building. We have I the village what appears from the frontage to be a lovely Georgian house but a surveyor friend who has been through it says it is actually ....'a Jerry built Victorian house with a Georgian facade!' Just goes to show......
