Halong Bay

Today we took a boat trip to Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. A stop for some kayaking and lunch then to monkey island on the way back to Cat Ba.

The scenery speaks for itself ... literally hundreds of these weird limestone rock formations sticking up from the ocean, all different shapes and sizes ... spectacular. The kayaking and monkey island were fun and the day overall was good but not the best trip we've had for the price we felt. Oh well, can't win them all as we've had some pretty good ones this far. Should have listened to Kerry and Maria and gone with their guy!
