Barnsley Town Hall

A bit late to wax lyrical about this town hall mentioned by George Orwell in 'The road to Wigan Pier'! You have to ask why was money spent on this at a time of such poverty. But it stands now as the centrepiece of the town and though I did not get it at its best you can see the magnificent tower.
